La Dolce Vita is all about experiencing the best of Tuscany — its food, wine, art, culture, beautiful landscapes and unmistakable way of life.

We’ll spend two nights in Florence followed by six nights at our private villa in the Tuscan countryside. Along the way, we’ll explore Florence’s art and shopping, experience the food and wines of Chianti, cook together, spend a day by the sea, visit a thermal spa and enjoy plenty of time around the villa over leisurely breakfasts, aperitivo and dinners together.

For six nights, settle into a tuscan postcard, a beautifully restored stone estate tucked into 124 hectares of private Tuscan countryside in the hills of Mugello, just 35 km from Florence.

Surrounded by olive groves, meadows and woodland, the property overlooks the Mugello Valley and combines the character of a traditional Tuscan farmstead with thoughtfully designed contemporary comforts.

Each guest will enjoy a private suite with ensuite bath, while select rooms feature their own private Finnish sauna or hammam. Throughout the estate, handmade terracotta floors, Florentine ceramics, Murano glass and natural stone preserve the character of the original property.

Days at the villa can be as relaxed as you choose—linger beside the panoramic pool overlooking the valley, enjoy the dedicated wellness and relaxation spaces, book a massage, or simply find a quiet corner of the property and enjoy the Tuscan countryside.

This isn't simply where we'll sleep. The villa is part of the experience.

The Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival and check-in

Arrive, settle in and enjoy an easy afternoon in Florence. Join us for a 6pm welcome aperitivo.

Day 2 Explore the city

Enjoy a leisurely morning to sleep off the jet lag, linger over breakfast, or shop and explore Florence. In the afternoon, we’ll meet our private art guide, followed by a group dinner that evening.

Day 3 Off to The Countryside

A final morning in Florence, Duomo visit and private transfer to your countryside Villa. Welcome aperitivo and chefs dinner.

Day 4 Cook like an Italian

A leisurely morning at the villa before heading out for a hands-on Tuscan cooking experience. Together, we’ll learn to prepare regional dishes, gather around the table, and enjoy what we’ve created. This is Tuscany exactly as it should be—good food, good wine, and nowhere else we need to be.

Day 5 The Magic of Chianti

Today we head deeper into the Tuscan countryside for a day of wine, beautiful scenery, and village life. We’ll visit a local winery for a tasting and spend time exploring one of Tuscany’s charming villages, with time for lunch and wandering along the way.

Day 6 Market Mornings and Beach Club Afternoon

Trade the countryside for the coast with a day in Forte dei Marmi, one of Tuscany’s most stylish seaside towns. We’ll browse the famous market, enjoy time in town, and settle in for an afternoon by the sea at a beach club. Think striped umbrellas, a long lunch, a swim, and absolutely no reason to rush.

Day 7 A Little Bit of Relaxation

A day devoted entirely to rest and relaxation at a beautiful Tuscan wellness center. Enjoy thermal pools, saunas, relaxation areas, and plenty of time to simply unwind. Optional treatments may be available to book separately.

Day 8 Favorites and free time

Join an optional activity, wander into town, enjoy the villa, or simply take the afternoon for yourself.

Day 9 Departure

Checkout from the villa is at 9:00 AM. A private shuttle will depart at that time and take the group back to Florence, where guests can continue to the airport, train station, or their next destination.

  • Who is La Dolce Vita for?

    La Dolce Vita is for travelers who want to experience Tuscany at an easy, enjoyable pace—with beautiful accommodations, incredible food, culture, shopping and thoughtfully planned experiences, without feeling rushed from one activity to the next. Friends, solo travelers and couples are welcome.

  • How much does the trip cost?

    Single occupancy is $5,500 per guest.
    Limited double occupancy is available for $4,000 per guest, for couples or friends who would like to share a room.
    There will be a limited number of both single- and double-occupancy rooms available for each departure.

  • What is included?

    Your trip includes accommodations in Florence and the Tuscan countryside, scheduled group transportation, select meals and chef-prepared dinners, and the experiences included in the itinerary. You'll also have plenty of unscheduled time to enjoy the villa, explore independently or add experiences of your own.

  • What is not included?

    Airfare to and from Italy, arrival airport transportation, lunches unless specifically included with an experience, personal shopping, optional excursions, massages and spa treatments, and travel insurance are not included.

  • How active is the trip?

    The pace is relaxed, but guests should be comfortable walking on cobblestone streets, navigating stairs and spending time on their feet while exploring Florence and Tuscany. Optional morning nature walks are offered during the countryside portion of the trip.
    There is also plenty of downtime built into the itinerary.

  • Are flights included?

    No. Airfare to and from Italy is not included, giving you the freedom to choose the airline, itinerary and travel dates that work best for you.

  • Which airport should I fly into?

    Florence Airport (FLR) is the most convenient. You may also choose to fly into another Italian city and continue to Florence by train.

    The trip officially begins at our hotel in Florence!

  • What meals are included?

    Daily breakfast and most dinners are included, along with welcome and farewell aperitivos, light afternoon bites on designated relaxation days and meals that are part of our included culinary experiences.
    Lunches are generally left open, giving you the freedom to discover a café, linger over lunch or simply follow your appetite that day.

  • Is transportation included?

    Private group transportation is included from Florence to the Tuscan countryside, for all included group excursions, and back to Florence on September 18.
    Transportation from the airport to our Florence hotel upon arrival is not included.

  • What if I don’t drink wine?

    Not a problem. Drinking is completely optional. La Dolce Vita is about experiencing Tuscany, and there is plenty to enjoy whether or not you drink alcohol.

  • What is the deposit and payment schedule?

    A $1,500 deposit is required to reserve your place. Your remaining balance is due 90 days prior to departure.
    We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment in the event of an unexpected cancellation or interruption.

  • What is the cancellation policy?

    The $1,500 deposit is non-refundable unless someone else fills your spot. After the final payment deadline of May 10, 2027, all payments are non-refundable.
